USB C-Cables

Google engineer Benson Leung has been determined to demonstrate that all USB-C links are not made equivalent, and that crucial to have finished — or possibly peaked — with one link thoroughly broiling his PC. Leung has been trying USB-C links and posting audits of them on Amazon for a couple of months at this point, and the latest link he tried, made by SurjTech, ended up being "totally miswired" — something he didn't understand until after it "figured out how to devastate my test gear," he says, including a Chromebook Pixel. Here's his clarification of what turned out badly: "The GND nail to the Type-An attachment is attached to the Vbus nails to the Type-C plug. The Vbus nail to the Type-An attachment is attached to GND on the Type-C plug. This is an all out catastrophe waiting to happen, and I have three bits of hardware dead to appear for it."

Leung cautions that his USB-C link surveys are "going to hinder a tad" in view of this episode. "Obviously," he states, "I am troubled, and this is going to influence how rapidly I overcome links and different embellishments in the present moment since my PC is dead." If you're intending to purchase a USB-C link, Leung's current audits are what is ddos as yet probably the best asset around. Also, given that cell phones and PCs are rapidly exchanging over to the new standard, odds are many individuals will be in the market for an additional link in the not so distant future.
